About the position(s)

Positions are full-time and paid according to salary grade 100% TV-L E 13 (the standard rate for junior scientific staff at German universities; salary depends on experience and amounts to at least 2200 Euro net per month).

The main research themes of the group are computational social choice and algorithmic game theory. Therefore, applicants must have a strong background in discrete mathematics and algorithms. Research experience in (algorithmic) game theory and/or (computational) social choice is beneficial. Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Programming skills are a plus.

Berlin has been repeatedly voted one of the world’s most liveable cities and offers a vibrant, creative, and international living environment. Berlin’s scientific landscape with three leading universities offers plenty of collaboration opportunities, for example in the context of the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society, the Einstein Center Digital Future, the Berlin Mathematics Research Center  MATH+, the Berlin Mathematical School (BMS), or the DFG research training group Facets of Complexity

We do not offer internships.
